Formed in 1992 by Heather Soccio, Dance Arts Academy has watched many of its members dance on Broadway, at Radio City Music Hall, and join prestigious dance companies around the world.
Located in Boonton New Jersey, our state-of-the-art facility offers male and female students of all ages, classes as diverse as:

Classes are available for students starting at age two, and we offer excellent beginner and preschool programs, as well.
For the more serious student, our national competition team holds auditions each year. These students participate in dance competitions, conventions, and at notable performance venues across the nation.
Dance Arts Academy offers three spacious dance studios equipped with professional dance floors and parent observation windows. We also sell a variety of dance apparel and shoes for your convenience.

About The Director, Heather Soccio
Heather is the owner of "Dance Arts Academy" in Boonton, NJ. She received her B.F.A. in Dance from Montclair State University. She has performed at the Garden State Arts Center, the prestigious Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, and in England, Scotland, and Wales with the New Generation Dance Company. Heather is founder of the Rising Star Dance Company. She is the choreographer of all the award winning routines performed by the Rising Star Dancers. Her students have won 'titles' and Overall High Score awards at national levels. Heather has also judged national dance competitions across the United States and 'guest teaches' so she can share her expertise with students all over the country. Heather has been given the honor of "Choreographer of the Year" several times at many National Competitions. Her students have been seen on National television shows and commercials. They have gone on to study dance in college and open up their own dance studios. They can also be seen in many Broadway and National Tours such as Beauty and the Beast, Taboo, The Radio City Christmas Spectacular, as well as The New Jersey Nets Dancers.
