Hector Flores (Acrobatics/Jazz) Hector Flores, originally from Southern California, has worked all over the world on cruise ships, then Las Vegas, as Aladdin for Disneyland Resorts as well regional/U.S/international tours of shows such as West Side Story, Miss Saigon, A Few Good Men Dancing. He also performed with Shakira on the MTV Video Music Awards -- other TV appearances include All My Children, The Guiding Light, and The Latin Grammy’s. Hector teaches at the Joffrey School in New York City, and is a guest choreographer for literally dozens of competition schools across the U.S. and Canada.
James Tabeek (Guest teacher)
Jim has just completed a two year run as the Dance Captain on the 1st national tour of the Broadway show WICKED. James'Broadway credits include TABOO (as the Dance Captain, with Rosie O'donnell and Boy George), Disney's BEAUTY AND THE BEAST (as the Carpet, Lefou U/S), and the Broadway workshop of SWEET CHARITY. Other New York credits include featured roles in the CHRISTMAS SPECTACULAR and CARNIVALE (at Radio City Music Hall), and BABES IN ARMS (at City Center/Encores!). He has also appeared in Europe in WEST SIDE STORY, regionally at the Goodspeed Opera House and at North Shore Music Theater, and was a Premiere Soloist at the Jazz Dance World Congress at the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC. James holds a BFA in Theater from Montclair State University.
Matt Boyce (Tap)
Matt has studied the art of tap dancing since the age of 7 with Mike Minery. At the age of 12 he was the youngest ever first company member of The New Jersey Tap Ensemble. While in the company for 4 years he performed in venues such as Merkin Hall in NYC, Town Hall in NYC, and NJPAC with the NJ Symphony. He is also an original member of Mike Minery's Tapaholics since it's inception, and has been performing with them since the age of 16. The company has toured in Florida, NYC, Washington DC, and WV. He has also been a musician/performer for the company's concert series. Matt is currently studying at Montclair State in the field of Music.
Sara Beard (Ballet) Sarah Beard received her early dance training with Alan Howard, Paul Sutherland, Brunhilda Ruiz, Olga Dvorovenko, and Larissa Shevaldina. She has attended summer intensive programs at American Ballet Theatre and The American Academy of Ballet. Sarah received a scholarship to SUNY Purchase, where she was a member of the SUNY Purchase Dance Corps. Miss Beard, who has most recently taught dance in the Pennsylvania area, relocated to New Jersey after receiving a M.Ed. in Counseling Psychology from Lehigh University.
Bonnie Lincoln (Ballet/Jazz/Hip Hop/Acro)
Bonnie started dancing at the age of 3 and began competing at age 8. She graduated from Dance Arts Academy, and under the direction of Heather Soccio won such titles as Miss Dance of Pennsylvania, Dancer of the Year New Jersey, and Miss Dance of the United States. She attended The College of New Jersey, where she was a 4 year member and 2 year captain of the nationally ranked dance team. Bonnie worked for Universal Dance Association for 3 years where she was quickly promoted to Region Leader for the Northeast and a Head Instructor. She traveled the country running competitions and teaching middle school, high school, and collegiate dance teams. Bonnie is now a proud, rookie member of the NJ Nets Dancers.
